Markets could pull back again.

All after the Federal Reserve said higher interest rate hikes are here to stay.

In fact, according to CNBC, “Powell dismissed the idea that the Fed may be pausing soon though he said he expects a discussion at the next meeting or two about slowing the pace of tightening. He also reiterated that it may take resolve and patience to get inflation down.”

Unfortunately, higher rates could be damaging.

According to “A long list of Wall Street banks from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan to Bank of America have warned that an overly aggressive Fed tightening policy, combined with a surging U.S dollar, risks breaking the global financial markets and causing dangerous instability in other currencies.” Even the International Monetary Fund, and the United Nations pressured the Federal Reserve to cool off with the hikes.

With higher interest rates, we’re likely to see a big return of volatility, which is great news for volatility-related stocks, like the ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures. ETF (UVXY).
